Colouring in the Outlines

Alhamdulilah for everything. I am a convert in my increasingly late, mid-twenties. I’m 29 years old.
I started this blog to share my thoughts and my love for Allah (Glory to The Most High), His Messenger Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) and the religion of Islam.

Then I discovered that the longer I am Muslim, the more private and personal my faith feels to me.

So no flag waving here, just descriptions of life under the flutterings of many flags.

I am married with a baby daughter.

My favourite word is Alhamdulilah

I like Surah 57,  sleep, sweets, stripey socks  and many other things.

    I don’t know how I found your blog but I did subhanALLAH and I just wanted to say “hi”.

    I’m a convert too alhamdullilah and I was intrigued to read in one of your posts that you speak Welsh.I’m Welsh and I don’t know many other Welsh converts so that is why I wanted to make contact. I don’t know why I did I just did!

    Anyway,I’ve said much more than “hi” so I’ll leave you in peace now!

    I have a confession to make, I’m not actually Welsh, although I come from the border region. Dw’in siarad dipyn, dipyn bach Cymraeg (I only speak a very little amount of Welsh), but I love it very, very much as language.

    Anyway, I hope to see you back here, even though I’m not really a Welsh convert ;)

    I stumbled on your blog and I was happy to see another (white girl) convert like me! I read your blog on the wedding booty shaking and just about fell off the chair I laughed so hard. It brought me back to my similar experience. I look around every so often to find more american muslimahs out there and Alhamdulillah I was successful this time!
